FLIP-BOOK PAGES IN MOTION.

A GIF image of a blinking girl.

The frames were drawn on several sheets of paper which I later scanned into Photoshop where I put together and created this animated GIF to the left.

HUMAN AFTER ALL - Animated flip-book pages with sound.

It's content is supposed to be ironic in that he's a robot singing about being 'Human After All', which I assume is also the idea behind the song used, since it's a robotic voice singing.

Metropolis video project.
We watched some visual narratives through film and video and we decided to adapt certain sections of the "Metropolis' by using royalty free film, music and sound bites.

I found clips from a Vietnam peace march in the states during the 60s and a Allied Victory Parade from the 40s and along with old Parade music from the 1920s.

This was a pretty obscure topic for me to really grasp and get the hang of.
To the left is a video clip I made to fit some of the footage into the video above. This video was originally in GIF format of animated type in photoshop and was then converted to an MP4 format so that I could feature it in the above video.

I quite like how the 'FortissimO section looks, as the O at the end duplicates and expands.
An animatic of a mock trailer based on the 'London's hidden places' comic we did during class. I quite like the overall pacing of this with the music, though in hindsight, I probably should have added sound affects.

I originally sketched the storyboard in my sketchbook and then went over them on computer to make the look better.

The music is 'Happy-Go-Lively' by Laurie Johnson, which has been commonly used in shows such as Ren & Stimpy and is Royalty Free.
This video is essentially the same as above, except with better picture quality but minus the sound.
